Product Description
A versatile short telephoto lens (100mm equivalent in the 35mm film format) that's a firm favourite of macro and portrait photographers. Due to its special lens design, the Zuiko Digital 50mm lens exhibits minimal distortion characteristics, and superbly even center-to-edge optical performance at all f-stops and focus distances. Its 2.0 maximum aperture makes for easy macro photography in low-light, and a floating lens design means that it functions superbly as a bright aperture portrait lens in fashion photography and professional portraiture use.
This lens includes an ED element for sharp, brilliant colour images, and provides a maximum magnification of 1:2 (half life size) - equivalent to life size (1:1) in a 35mm film photo.
